Theory
The FT8 transmission is 'constant-carrier FSK mode'. This means that we transmit continuously for the whole duration of the cycle (15Sec). If we over drive (over deviate) the transmitter then we generate ghost signals that affect other stations and us. Unfortunately this is difficult for us to check it. What we need to do is to adjust properly our tx. In the image on the side we can see how an 'over driven' transmitter looks in the waterfall display. Εμεις δεν ωφελούμεθα σε κάτι αλλά γινόμαστε 'Δημοφιλείς' και όλοι μάς βρίζουν.
